Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Pittenweem, Fife'; 'Even Tide Kings Lynn'; When the tide is out, Kings Lynn each approximately 24.5 x 34cm (9 5/8 x 13 3/8in). (3) by Frank William Scarbrough was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,411.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank William Scarbrough achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pool of London; And London Bridge (Both Illustrated) in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,640.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'Pittenweem, Fife'; 'Even Tide Kings Lynn'; When the tide is out, Kings Lynn each approximately 24.5 x 34cm (9 5/8 x 13 3/8in).
