Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'The Tower Bridge, London' by Frank William Scarbrough was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,068.64). Admittedly, works by Frank William Scarbrough have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pool of London; And London Bridge (Both Illustrated) in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,640.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'The Tower Bridge, London' von Frank William Scarbrough kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.068,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frank William Scarbrough auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pool of London; And London Bridge (Both Illustrated) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.400,00 (€ 16.640,29).
