Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'London Bridge' by Frank William Scarbrough was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 1,992.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frank William Scarbrough have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pool of London; And London Bridge (Both Illustrated) in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,640.29).
