Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Poultry by a stream by François van Severdonck. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,031.50. Admittedly, works by François van Severdonck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 9,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poultry by a stream von François van Severdonck zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.031,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François van Severdonck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.250,00.
