Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Peckinpah by Francis Ruyter was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2010. The result of USD 1,000.00 (€ 739.32) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Ruyter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City of Women in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,746.03).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Peckinpah von Francis Ruyter kam im März 2010 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 739,32) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Ruyter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City of Women im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.746,03).
