The work The Supper At Emmaus by Ford Madox Brown was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 61,451.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Ford Madox Brown have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Of England in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 206,850.00 (€ 297,552.61).

Die Arbeit The Supper At Emmaus von Ford Madox Brown kam im Mai 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 61.451,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ford Madox Brown auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Last Of England im November 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 206.850,00 (€ 297.552,61).
