In the Victorian & British Impressionist Pictures Including Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Self Portrait, bust-length, in a brown coat sold for GBP 63,650.00 (€ 73,833.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ford Madox Brown have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Of England in November 2004 with an auction result of GBP 206,850.00 (€ 297,552.61).

In der Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Pictures Including Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit Self Portrait, bust-length, in a brown coat für GBP 63.650,00 (€ 73.833,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00.
