Auction result well in line with expectations

Admittedly, works by Floris van Schooten have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pewter plates with opened oysters, two mackerel, a bun, oyster shells, a bag of tobacco, matches, a white clay pipe, a berkemeier of white wine, a red earthenware brazier with embers and a pewter oval tobacco tin on a wooden table in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 162,250.00.
