Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Christ And The Woman Of Samaria At The Well by Floris van Schooten was sold in the Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners auction at Sothebys in London in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,833.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Floris van Schooten achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pewter plates with opened oysters, two mackerel, a bun, oyster shells, a bag of tobacco, matches, a white clay pipe, a berkemeier of white wine, a red earthenware brazier with embers and a pewter oval tobacco tin on a wooden table in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 162,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Christ And The Woman Of Samaria At The Well von Floris van Schooten wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pewter plates with opened oysters, two mackerel, a bun, oyster shells, a bag of tobacco, matches, a white clay pipe, a berkemeier of white wine, a red earthenware brazier with embers and a pewter oval tobacco tin on a wooden table im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.250,00.
