Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Study by Flora Yukhnovich was worth GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,693.59) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Day Auction at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Flora Yukhnovich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Warm, Wet ‘N’ Wild in March last year with an auction result of GBP 2,697,000.00 (€ 3,197,597.04).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Study von Flora Yukhnovich war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres GBP 63.000,00 (€ 74.693,59) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Flora Yukhnovich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Warm, Wet ‘N’ Wild im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.697.000,00 (€ 3.197.597,04).
