A top price for Flora Yukhnovich
When the work Warm, Wet ‘N’ Wild by Flora Yukhnovich was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 200,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than 13 times as high at GBP 2,697,000.00 (€ 3,197,597.04). This high result makes Warm, Wet ‘N’ Wild the most expensive artwork by Flora Yukhnovich that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Warm, Wet ‘N’ Wild von Flora Yukhnovich im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – GBP 200.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit GBP 2.697.000,00 (€ 3.197.597,04) mehr als 13-mal so hoch. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Warm, Wet ‘N’ Wild zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Flora Yukhnovich, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
