A top price for Fletcher Benton - as previously expected
The work Yellow Lilly by Fletcher Benton was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2015. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,601.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Yellow Lilly is the most expensive artwork by Fletcher Benton that we have observed at auctions so far.
