In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction, the work Drum Rhythm Maquette, 2007 sold for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,303.96) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fletcher Benton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow Lilly in July 2015 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,601.74).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fletcher Benton erzielte im September 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California wurde die Arbeit Drum Rhythm Maquette, 2007 für USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.303,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fletcher Benton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow Lilly im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.601,74).
