Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Ciguapa Pantera (to all the goods and pleasures of this world) by Firelei Báez. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 63,000.00 (€ 53,648.98). Other works by Firelei Báez have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,062.62) in May last year for the work Demetrea (from the series Geographic Delay).

Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ciguapa Pantera (to all the goods and pleasures of this world) von Firelei Báez zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 63.000,00 (€ 53.648,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Firelei Báez haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 88.062,62) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Demetrea (from the series Geographic Delay) beobachtet.
