Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fiona Rae could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Day Sale auction, the work Untitled (White) changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,418.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fiona Rae achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figure 1i in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,560.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fiona Rae konnte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (White) für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.418,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fiona Rae erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figure 1i im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.560,40).
