However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Erfmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vrouw met kinderwagen, which sold at auction in December 2006 for EUR 51,600.00.

Die Arbeit De Glabrio's von Ferdinand Erfmann kam im Juni 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 23.900,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Erfmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vrouw met kinderwagen beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für EUR 51.600,00 versteigert wurde.
