Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman in a Mediterranean landscape by Ferdinand Erfmann was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 800,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,875.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ferdinand Erfmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vrouw met kinderwagen in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 51,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman in a Mediterranean landscape von Ferdinand Erfmann wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.875,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferdinand Erfmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vrouw met kinderwagen im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.600,00.
