It achieved a price of EUR 10,625.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33 %. Admittedly, works by Ferdinand Erfmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vrouw met kinderwagen in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 51,600.00.

Die Arbeit On the beach von Ferdinand Erfmann wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.625,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ferdinand Erfmann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vrouw met kinderwagen im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.600,00.
