The work Two girls on bicycles by Ferdinand Erfmann was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 47,100.00 57% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ferdinand Erfmann; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vrouw met kinderwagen sold at auction in December 2006 with the realized price of EUR 51,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two girls on bicycles von Ferdinand Erfmann wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 47.100,00 und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ferdinand Erfmann; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Vrouw met kinderwagen im Dezember 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 51.600,00.
