Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Feng Guifen was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,126.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Feng Guifen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Running Script Calligraphic Couplet was auctioned for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,876.93).
