Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Calligraphy in Running Script by Feng Guifen for HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,523.96). This price was achieved in the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Feng Guifen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2018 by the work Running Script Calligraphic Couplet at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,876.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Feng Guifen für HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.523,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Feng Guifen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphic Couplet mit HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.876,93).
