This artwork by Feng Guifen achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Couplet In Running Script sold for HKD 21,240.00 (€ 2,427.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Guifen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphic Couplet, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,876.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Guifen erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Couplet In Running Script für HKD 21.240,00 (€ 2.427,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Guifen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphic Couplet beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.876,93) versteigert wurde.
