Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Divagando. 1976. by Fausto Melotti was auctioned at Koller in June last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 8,000.00 – 14,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 9,375.00 (€ 9,376.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Melotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Pioggia in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 625,682.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Divagando. 1976. von Fausto Melotti kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Koller zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 8.000,00 – 14.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 9.375,00 (€ 9.376,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Melotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Pioggia im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 625.682,41).
