Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Fausto Melotti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction, the work Lotto di tre opere sold for EUR 17,640.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Melotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Pioggia in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 625,682.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fausto Melotti erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Lotto di tre opere für EUR 17.640,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Melotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Pioggia im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 625.682,41).
