Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Contrappunto piano by Fausto Melotti. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 60,000.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Melotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Pioggia in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 548,750.00 (€ 625,682.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Contrappunto piano von Fausto Melotti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 60.000,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Melotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Pioggia im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 548.750,00 (€ 625.682,41).
