Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work White Vine Flowers by Fantchunpi. The price achieved of HKD 103,500.00 (€ 9,821.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fantchunpi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buddha, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit White Vine Flowers von Fantchunpi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 103.500,00 (€ 9.821,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fantchunpi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buddha beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87) versteigert wurde.
