In October 2013 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Vase of Flowers by Fantchunpi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 101,200.00 (€ 9,603.35), 27% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fantchunpi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buddha, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vase of Flowers von Fantchunpi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 101.200,00 (€ 9.603,35) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fantchunpi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buddha beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87) versteigert wurde.
