The work Peony by Fantchunpi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 195,500.00 (€ 18,551.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fantchunpi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buddha, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).

Die Arbeit Peony von Fantchunpi kam im Oktober 2013 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 195.500,00 (€ 18.551,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Für andere Arbeiten von Fantchunpi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buddha beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87) versteigert wurde.
