Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Orange Flowers by Fantchunpi. The price achieved of HKD 92,000.00 (€ 8,730.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fantchunpi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buddha in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Orange Flowers von Fantchunpi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 92.000,00 (€ 8.730,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fantchunpi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buddha im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87).
