Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Napping by Fantchunpi was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 112,700.00 (€ 10,694.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fantchunpi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buddha, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Napping von Fantchunpi wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 112.700,00 (€ 10.694,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fantchunpi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buddha beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87) versteigert wurde.
