Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chicken, Basket and Grass by Fantchunpi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 57,500.00 (€ 5,456.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Fantchunpi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buddha in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chicken, Basket and Grass von Fantchunpi kam im Oktober 2013 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 57.500,00 (€ 5.456,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fantchunpi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buddha im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87).
