Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Fantchunpi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Cat sold for HKD 103,500.00 (€ 9,821.61) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fantchunpi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buddha, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 391,000.00 (€ 37,103.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fantchunpi erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Cat für HKD 103.500,00 (€ 9.821,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fantchunpi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buddha beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 391.000,00 (€ 37.103,87) versteigert wurde.
