The work Village Scene by Fang Jizhong was worth HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,186.22) to a buyer in May 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Jizhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goats In The Autumn Woods in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 2,560,000.00 (€ 263,559.46).

Die Arbeit Village Scene von Fang Jizhong war einem Käufer im Mai 2014 HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.186,22) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Jizhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Goats In The Autumn Woods im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.560.000,00 (€ 263.559,46).
