Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chemin de Montagne, 1957 by Fang Jizhong was sold in the Chinese Art from a German Family Collection auction at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of EUR 10,240.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Jizhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goats In The Autumn Woods in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 2,560,000.00 (€ 263,559.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chemin de Montagne, 1957 von Fang Jizhong wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Art from a German Family Collection bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.240,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Jizhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Goats In The Autumn Woods im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.560.000,00 (€ 263.559,46).
