Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Fang Jizhong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Various Subjects sold for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 155,192.97) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fang Jizhong; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Goats In The Autumn Woods sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of HKD 2,560,000.00 (€ 263,559.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Jizhong erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Various Subjects für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 155.192,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fang Jizhong; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Goats In The Autumn Woods im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 2.560.000,00 (€ 263.559,46).
