This artwork by Fang Jizhong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Goats In The Autumn Woods sold for HKD 2,560,000.00 (€ 263,559.46) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,000,000.00.
