Upper estimate price exceeded by 40 %.
The work Deers At Ease by Fang Jizhong was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. It achieved a price of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Admittedly, works by Fang Jizhong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Goats In The Autumn Woods in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 2,560,000.00 (€ 263,559.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Deers At Ease von Fang Jizhong kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Jizhong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Goats In The Autumn Woods im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.560.000,00 (€ 263.559,46).
