This artwork by Eugène Petit achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in November 2014. In the Alte Kunst auction, the work Rosenstrauß in einer Glasvase sold for EUR 7,095.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eugène Petit; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The chase; and Stalking the prey sold at auction in April 2000 with the realized price of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 12,069.31).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène Petit erzielte im November 2014 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Alte Kunst wurde die Arbeit Rosenstrauß in einer Glasvase für EUR 7.095,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Eugène Petit; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The chase; and Stalking the prey im April 2000 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 12.069,31).
