The work Salomé Vase, 1993-2000 by Ettore Sottsass was worth EUR 27,500.00 to a buyer in November 2017. This price was achieved in the auction Jacques Grange | Collectionneur at Sothebys in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ettore Sottsass achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composizione di elementi di legno colorato e specchio, il tutto unito da funi di canapa, designed for Galleria Arform, Milan in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 309,000.00 (€ 351,918.09).

Die Arbeit Salomé Vase, 1993-2000 von Ettore Sottsass war einem Käufer im November 2017 EUR 27.500,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Jacques Grange | Collectionneur bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ettore Sottsass erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composizione di elementi di legno colorato e specchio, il tutto unito da funi di canapa, designed for Galleria Arform, Milan im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 309.000,00 (€ 351.918,09).
