Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ettore Sottsass was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 17,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ettore Sottsass achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composizione di elementi di legno colorato e specchio, il tutto unito da funi di canapa, designed for Galleria Arform, Milan in April 2018 with an auction result of GBP 309,000.00 (€ 351,918.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ettore Sottsass kam im Mai 2021 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 17.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ettore Sottsass erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composizione di elementi di legno colorato e specchio, il tutto unito da funi di canapa, designed for Galleria Arform, Milan im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 309.000,00 (€ 351.918,09).
