This price was achieved in the auction Modern | Post War | Contemporary | Eggers Collection at VAN HAM and exceeded the previously set estimate of EUR 1,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by István (Etienne) Beöthy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Monument pour aviateur, Op. 48 in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,960.50).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von István (Etienne) Beöthy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Monument pour aviateur, Op. 48 im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.960,50).
