Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Ethel Carrick Fox was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,581.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ethel Carrick Fox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Market, Under Trees in April 2008 with an auction result of AUD 1,008,000.00 (€ 609,863.31).

Die Arbeit Still Life von Ethel Carrick Fox kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.581,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ethel Carrick Fox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Market, Under Trees im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 1.008.000,00 (€ 609.863,31).
