In August 2004 Christies in Sydney held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Apple And Pear Blossoms by Ethel Carrick Fox. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 22,705.00 (€ 13,177.96), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ethel Carrick Fox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Market, Under Trees in April 2008 with an auction result of AUD 1,008,000.00 (€ 609,863.31).

Im August 2004 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Apple And Pear Blossoms von Ethel Carrick Fox zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 22.705,00 (€ 13.177,96) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ethel Carrick Fox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Market, Under Trees im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 1.008.000,00 (€ 609.863,31).
