Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Cuban Landscapes by Esteban Chartrand was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2009. The price achieved of USD 46,875.00 (€ 33,183.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Esteban Chartrand have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Ingenio Con Río was auctioned for USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43).
