A top price for Esteban Chartrand - as previously expected
The work Ingenio Con Río by Esteban Chartrand was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2010. The price achieved of USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ingenio Con Río is the most expensive artwork by Esteban Chartrand that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Ingenio Con Río von Esteban Chartrand kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.149,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ingenio Con Río das teuerste Kunstwerk von Esteban Chartrand, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
