Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Paisaje by Esteban Chartrand for USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,455.53). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Esteban Chartrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ingenio Con Río, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paisaje von Esteban Chartrand für USD 23.750,00 (€ 17.455,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Esteban Chartrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ingenio Con Río beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.149,43) versteigert wurde.
