Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Erwin Blumenfeld could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in November 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographies auction, the work Georges-Henri Rouault changed hands for EUR 2,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erwin Blumenfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Manina, Paris in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 98,937.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Erwin Blumenfeld konnte im November 2015 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographies wechselte die Arbeit Georges-Henri Rouault für EUR 2.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erwin Blumenfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Manina, Paris im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 98.937,10).
