Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Erwin Blumenfeld could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Discovery on Madison Online auction, the work Nude Distortion changed hands for USD 484.50 (€ 456.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 900.00 – 1,100.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erwin Blumenfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Manina, Paris in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 98,937.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Erwin Blumenfeld konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Discovery on Madison Online wechselte die Arbeit Nude Distortion für USD 484,50 (€ 456,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 900,00 – 1.100,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erwin Blumenfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Manina, Paris im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 98.937,10).
