Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lisette Behind Fluted Glass, New York, c. 1943 by Erwin Blumenfeld was sold in the Photographies auction at Christies in Paris in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erwin Blumenfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Manina, Paris in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 98,937.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lisette Behind Fluted Glass, New York, c. 1943 von Erwin Blumenfeld wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Photographies bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erwin Blumenfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Manina, Paris im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 98.937,10).
