Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait with Veil, 1947 by Erwin Blumenfeld was auctioned at Christies in Paris in May last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,780.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erwin Blumenfeld achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Manina, Paris in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 80,500.00 (€ 98,937.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait with Veil, 1947 von Erwin Blumenfeld kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.780,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erwin Blumenfeld erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Manina, Paris im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 80.500,00 (€ 98.937,10).
